I just bought a 97'F350 crewcab w/a 8' box. I'm interested in either replacing the whole bed or at the very least fixing it and putting some bed caps on it.

My ? is everytime I'm looking for either stock or aftermarket parts for my 97' ...it seems they ALWAYS stop at the year 96' and nothings mentioned about 97' and 98' F350s??? What gives??
Whats the differences w/the 97s and 98s?

Anyway...
Anyone have a near mint 8'bed?
and
I also need the front pass. door or at least new hinges?
Thanx for any help.
Tom

It's the same old shit everywhere you look... people think because the F150 changed body style in '97 so did the F250 and 350.

I see no reason that any '92-96 (and probably even earlier, save for some taillight style differences '80-86) bed of the appropriate length wouldn't fit your '97.

Even dealerships can't figure out that 3/4 and 1 tons were '92-97, NOT '92-96. I ordered an oil pump for a 351 in a '97 F250 and got an oil pump for a 5.4. Fawking idiots
