How do you do 'wheelbase'? I saw the toy in the TTC had a 103" wheelbase. So I wanted to see what I had since I changed some of the setup under my rig. Do you measure from the middle of the front hub to the middle of the drum in the back, basically center to center?

Yes. Or tire to tire or rim to rim, it's all the same.

True wheelbase is measured from center of axle to center of axle, measureing the above ways will no give you true wheel. <IMG SRC="smilies/usa.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/usa.gif" border="0">

i could see maybe tire to tire being a hair off... maybe wear or something but how can rim to rim be any different than center axle to center axle?

As long as the wheels aren't turned. Center to center on the axle isn't that hard to do, unless your afraid of laying on the ground.

its alot easier wheel to wheel unless you got the rims off, with the wheels and tires on you can only eye ball the centers. Oh well it doesnt really matter I guess

Oh yea anyone know the stock wheelbase of a 83 Long bed???? I changed mine and am kinda curious what it used to be
