Well I wanted to go back to a stock M715 box, but nobody would give me a decent price for my utility bed, so I finally got the nerve to dice the box up...
Heck how many utility boxed trucks do you see on the trail?

...a circular saw fitted with a metal cutting disc makes short work of sheet metal, stright lines anyways

Orginal Image of the truck:

The carnage:

After the cutting stoped...

What I want it to look like

Wow, am I the only one to look at this

and think "Way fawkin' cool, a Jeep fire truck" and then I saw this

and thought "you just KILLED a VERY DESIRABLE AND COLLECTABLE vehicle.

Jeep fire trucks are few and far between, you should've done that to one that was just a regular m715.

Looks cool though, I do have to admit. Just sad to see it happen to a fire truck.

Had it been a M715 with an orginal Utility box (M726) I would not have chopped it, there truly is very few of them left. But as it was, this 715 had been chopped and the orginal bed cut off and a aftermarket utility bed was welded in its place, the fire company seemed to really like to chop and weld pieces here and there...

I did have a 2nd M715 that i did NOT cut into because it was all orginal and complete with everything...ended up selling that one, was just to orginal to modify:

I love photoshop, what better way to cut the back end off to see what it would look like, without having to get the torch out
