They need to come out of there lonely ass woods and holler at somebody. Tired of seeing and beeing on runs with one or 2 toys adn then 20 jeeps. Id like to see 2 jeep and 20 yotas instead. i cant make it to GSMTR cause of school complications have kept me from going each year. I decided to take a year off of school so maybe i can make it next MAY. Thats is if im not living in COlorado by then but thats another story. There needs to be some other toyota runs out there for tellico or paragon or somewhere. Maybe i should try to get one started myself. Well anyway if anybody is interested in getting a east coast toyota run somehwere during the summer months then hit me up i have so far about 18 toyota owners who are interested and im still looking for more. ay

I'm on the east coast but way to far south. It takes me about 8 hours just to get out of florida and into georgia!

Also I checked out your site and it looks great! You've got a lot of great pics and info there! Also you have a pic of my old truck (pic 55 under toyotas) I think it's the only mud pic you have in the toyota section.

I see you finally came over to the "TRUE" 4WD board. I wish we could organize a BIG run somewhere near here so we could have a middle "connection". I got plenty of places to go just gotta get up here and DO IT. Hey shawn I think I just scored a 60 front for my "project 4 Runner". I'll be in touch here soon. Have you got your coils in yet? I'm thinking about doing 4 link/air bag on the rear of my new project. I just picked up some air bags last night from a friend. Take it easy bud.......Later-Tim/Shaker

Hey Shaker Where the hell have ya been man?!?!? I am most defintely up for an East coast run as soon as I get outta school in dec. Until then I wont really have all that much cabbage to spend on my truck. Hey Tim I need to get up with you to design and build a front bumper for the yota. BTW its no longer camoflauge and doesnt overheat or run rough anymore. I did lots of work to it at the shop this summer but as wth any project it needs more. Take it easy bro'.

Some of us are in Florida building radical toys. Give us a time and place and we will come north to participate. Always looking to wheel somewhere different with new people.
check out East Coast Roll Call on the General BB - lets get a mailing list together, coordinate events and improve existing East Coast events. I'm certain a few of us would would assist in promoting events or runs.

You Toyota people are so just because some one dosent have a Toyata you dont want them to ride. Thats arrogant and very stuck up in my opinion. Thats part of the reason Toyota people have a reputation for thinking there shit dosent stink. When I ride I dont care what kind of vehicle you drive as long as you can drive it well. So, I say to all of you stuck up Toyota people.

Tell ya why there aren't a lot of built yotas in the east: RUST!! The japanese didn't address that problem until just recently. The older yotas are all gone so people that want to join a club or wheel with like vehicles buy a new heep.. There are some built new yotas that I saw while living in Maryland, but it was mainly heeps. Of course I was always out with Rovers laughing at heeps, but it's all in good fun! I'll wheel with anyone anytime, no matter what the rig.

I think you need to go back to school to learn to read Adam...

Nobody suggested they did not want to ride with anyone else, they simply wanted to find MORE Toyota's to ride with...

Big difference there

Besides, riding with like vehicles offers the advantage of more spare parts in case you break stuff... Seems smart to me...

Then let me rephrase my intentions - I want to organize a TOYOTA GATHERING here...

And as for the place I want to hold it - it would be open to anyone else who wants to come too - so it would NOT be just Toyota's.

Even GSMTR has not Toys riding in their midst every year... I never hear anyone complaining about it either

You know I could care less about who I ride with, but a lot of people want to find and ride with other Toyota owners...

I could care less if you want to ride your bike with me on the trail... it's all good

Wheelers are wheelers, who cares what they drive, your not sleeping with them, the fun is in the doing, spare parts help, but so does add'l knowledge from outside your everyday contacts

Thats the way I am I dont care what you drive but then I have been looked down on when in the middel of a bunch of toyotas one time and seemed like I wasnt welcome and i left.I was as nice as could be to these people and they just dint like me because I dint drive a toyota.
If there was a cab truck only ride some where they would be claimed to be the most hell raisingest drunk wild idiots evry known just because of what they drive.
I guess just dont like the hardcore toyota people becuse of my experiences with them.I love to ride with people with the same types of rigs as mine also It dose make for more spare parts as you said. But any one else is welcome also.

Well, that attitude is not specific to Toyota's - you will find pockets of that stuck up attitude in all kinds of rigs on the trail...

I will say that generally Land Cruiser people are the worst though

Personall I could care less what you drive as long as your not an idiot! I well will all types of trucks and down here it seems the BIG 3 are the ones to look down on me becase I drive a toyota but yet they will all take your help when tehre stuck. Personally I just like to wheel and like it even more when tehres a varity of trucks. Then you can see diffrent setups and diffrent lift styles and all. As long as they want to take it off road there more than welcome!

I had a set of 38.5 SX's on 16.5" rims I had hoped to have sold that were gonna pay for my frotn Dana 60.. but the buyer backed out, and I still need the cash for the front 60

My shop should be done in 3 weeks, so once it is up I start on the mythical cab truck I have been gathering parts for

Never fear - you will see me at the Halloween ride if I have to ride a BIG WHEEL!
