Where can i find a flat/strait pitman arm for my Toy ifs steering box?? Does anyone make one? I used a Toy ifs steering box on my SAS'd Tacoma and the stock toy drag link drops down way too much and will probably interfere with the suspension during compression.
So where can i find a pitmam are the is basically strait or flat <IMG SRC="smilies/question.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/question.gif" border="0">

I know FJ60-62 arms will fit but I don't know how much drop they have. The FJ80 arms are flat but I don't know if they will fit. I am talking about spline the tapers are all the same. Check the Landruiser board for the drop.

Ya, that is what i was thinking, i remember seeing FJ80 pitman arms and i thought that they were strait. That would be nice if the FJ-80 pitman arm would fit the IFS box.
Ill post and see if anyone knows if it will fit the Toy ifs steering box.
Thanks for the help bud,

Please let us know what you find out! I will be looking for a flat one too for my new frame. It can be mounted up much higher and I'd been thinking of putting a tapered bushing in the stock IFS arm so the rod end was on top of the arm, instead of below it.

incontrol,
I guess that has a little less drop than the Toy IFS box pitman arm, but it is still far from strait, damn!, Do you know which FJ used the pitman arm that was completly strait with no drop at all?, i know that one of the models use a strait one ive seen them before. do you know?
thank for your help.

I have one if you want it...It's slightly bent to compensate for the angle of the steering box...It came with my crossover steering...I couldn't use it because it was too high for my SAS and was hitting my frame when it turned...I don't know if it will work for you or not...If you want pictures email me...BTW the hole for the drag link end is 3/8"
