These are special jam nuts, you can't just buy them off the shelf like say 3/4 jam nuts. They have to be taped for the 23mm threads. There is not a Toyota Part number and Toyota does not sell them. As far as I know Marlin, Rockstomper and All Pro are the only places that sell them.

Some place else has to sell them, you don't make them. Like I said ABC Supply in Sacramento may have them and they sell by the each.

Yes we do make them, the only places you will find them are places that sell FJ-80 ends and tap their own nuts. Because it takes time to make them, time to ship them, VISA gets their $2.00, ads in FOUR WHEELER cost a few hundred dollars, the electic bill at the shop last month was $400, the rent was due again and I need to eat each and every day or I get grouchey. And BTW the left hand 23mm tap costs over $100 alone.

The dealer does not sell them. 80-Series Land Cruisers use a totally different rod end clamping system. Besides, if you could get them at the dealer, the'd be $25 <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

I spent hours a little over a year ago trying to track these down, (ditto for a 21mm one to fit the 84/85 mini truck ends) lots of web searches, numerous long distance calls to wholesalers and suppliers and ended up with the same answer Chris gave...nobody makes these suckers. Near as I can tell, anybody that has them is making them using the taps they bought for the tie rods.

Toyota used a clamp that went around the tie rod, not a jam nut, to secure the rod ends.
