Hi there.

Do you know good speed shops/hi performance part shops? I'm thinking to order some parts for SB Chevy engine, cause prices in our local shops (here in Finland) are pretty high.

I think biggest and most known supliers are Summit and Jegs? Is that right? Is there some others like those? Low price but good parts is what I'm looking for ;) Or maybe you know some local shop who could suply parts I need and send them to Finland(and answer to some tech questions)? I think the payment would be by Visa.

We haven't decided all the parts yet but we need cylinder heads (AFR seems real good or Victor 23 or Brodix Track1??), intake manifold, roller lifters (I have Comp Cams 300BR-14 roller cam) , roller rockers, pushrods, timing gears, bolts for rods and main caps, tach gauge etc. We are planning to build engine that gives over +++400 horses under 6500rpm.

And all good advices of building SB chevy is welcome.

Here's a pic of Desktop Dyno 2000 about the engine that we hope to make.....

I have ordered hundreds of things from Summit. Great parts, great prices, quick delivery.

The dyno sheet looks good. Is it a 350? Summit does sell a 383 kit. Don't know how much you have played with desktop dyno, but going to a 383 will add torque, but not horsepower. It will help the low end on a higher rpm engine.

-383 would be one way to go, but I have already 350 block, crank, dome pistons, rods and comp cams roller cam. So I'll need some more parts to get that sucker rolling:D :D .

Engine is going to a tube chassi, Volvo portal axled 4ws, aluminum Jeep flatfender look-a-like trial and formula off road racer. Tyres maybe 35" boggers when it the sand pit and at trials maybe 39.5" TSL??

i would say go to performance automotive wharehouse or PAW
they usually have a 1-2 page add in 4 wheel and offroad but there catalog puts summits to shame and they are pretty damn cheap

Jare,

I have ordered from these guys (to Canada) and they were great

Another one with a big online catologue is:

no experience with them though.

Jegs and Summit are both good too, of course.

I also have a very good friend that works at a pretty famous engine building place close by - they have shipped motors (some at $50 000 plus!!) all over the world. SUPER knowledgable. If you want I can PM you a phone number.
