Tranny/tcase suggestions

The 435/205 combo is pretty much standard in the '77-79 series, and I believe that in '80 they swapped over to a T18/205 set up, either one of which are damn good. You may be able to find a 205 that'll bolt up to the 435 you already have, but don't quote me on that.
And just a friendly FYI, the older a truck is, the earlier the model is. I know, it seems backwards, but its the way gearheads talk.
