Yea, he's still stock/stock.. I keep embarassing him, with my 2.27/4.7 dual cases.

No, it's not the gears, it's his wife, who keeps saying (in public even!) "Dear, you've got to get lower gears in this thing.."

:D

oh, I've had it running for over a year now in a Suzuki Samurai SWB.
i was using one, but have since switched to a bigger drivetrain... worked great for what it was, and what it was intended for :D
Double stock toys would is fine for most wheeling, but since moving to 37s its not enough when the rocks get reallllly big. There have been times on the con and especially at the hammers when the 200 something to 1 would have been nice.

Tdavis is just jealous I have a wife that knows about lower gears and what not (while being cute to boot!).
can someone who's done the setup PM me with a rough cost to set up the whole thing and be ready to go. I'm debating this or a rock block:D
I have dual stocks in mine.. I might drop in a low gear in one of them, but it is pretty damn sweet now. You all have to admit it beats the hell out of what you used to have with a single t-case! And no worries about busting it open either.

If I do put in a lower gear, it will only be a 4.0 or so. I just don't see a need for a lower gear with the twins. The 4.0 might be handy in the sand too..

More than a rockblock.

From this thread, fatkid posted what he paid, which is about what I paid. I also have more in the high-pinion rear diff and the cost of all new driveshafts (front and rear)

BTW, doesn't that work better IN the vehicle?

:D
Have not made up my mind on a vehicle, its either my 87 tin top ZUK, purchase a 4 door sidekick or fab up a chassis.

It will not be the green lawn cart, without a suspension it would be a rough ride, but there is a starter for power and I have a full set of ZUK axles next to the house and a FJ40 steering system.

What are you asking for the indivisual parts ?
Why are you selling the SOS parts ?

i took my 16v/ringr combo out of my buggy in favor of a V6/auto combo... the part's are great, but the problem was the 16v wasn't enough motor for what i was using it for (comp rig) the 16v's since been put into the samurai i just sold, so i have no zuk, and still have the parts...

i only want $450 + shipping for all of it! and it's only got 2/3 of a comp season on it, the cluth plate still looks new!
Thats a pretty good deal...I wonder why nobody has jumped on it?

i had it forsale for a while, and i have offered it to 3 or 4 ppl who've asked about the setup and no one follows through, i'm moving in 2 months and it's most likely gonna be a dumpster item when i go... lik 90% of the part's ive' aquired
