Also make sure the coil isn't wired backwards, (negative on the positive and vice-versa) it'll run but not well.
thats just a noise supressor. I'd leave it in as without it you tend to get alot of ignition noise in cb/s stereos and junk..rokdog03 said:the little roud thing that has a plug on it that is mounted right next to my coil. it came off the 1990 f150 i took the motor from but maybe i dont need one with this. i have alot better spark from the coil but at the plugs it still blows.
you think the timing could be way off.
i dont know what closed bowl is and i am running a accel distributor with the tfi module hooked to it if thats what your asking
