Guessing you broke a strap or you wouldnt be asking. They dont cost that much, and if you damaged it enough to be concerned with repair, its time to destroy the old and buy a new one. Like steering and brakes, dont fawk around with substandard recovery gear.
Yeah it got destroyed towing a car, the strap must have rubbed up against the strap. I know that they are cheap enough to buy and plan on purchaseing a new one, but I thinking if having the old one cut down and a new looped end sewn - I would have an additional strap on hand if needed.
