Rewiring a Toyota truck. Currently, there are two fuse panels. One in engine bay, another in cabin under steering. Want to consolidate into a single panel. Will also be getting rid of unneeded wiring, so there will be less fuses in the end. Should I place the new fuse and relay box in the cab or engine bay?

Also, what so you think of relocating the battery into the cabin?

I’d go under the dash. Heat and moisture are tough on the electronics.

Exactly, electronics don't like moisture and heat. It is best to do as the person above wrote - move the fuses under the dashboard.
