All,

It's hard to find a daily driver Toyota pickup to replace my ailing 87 here in NJ. Frame and rear spring mount on the truck are ready to snap.

I realize this is more of a trail vehicle site, but I figured it would be worth it to put out a feeler for a daily driver 4x4.

Looking for 1989 to present, not an exorbitant amount of mileage (< 150K, perhaps), presentable body, and 4x4.

Not so concerned about cab size, power accessories, A/C, auto/manual, color, and the like.

Looking for the <$7500 price range.

Thanks in advance.

how much for your 87?
Jimbo,

Honestly hadn't thought about it. How much is a solid 22-RE (141K with DOA timing kit and head gasket somewhere around 130K), auto trans, and driveline worth?

Truck runs so good I hate to give it up for the frame, but it's something I don't have the skill or time to deal with. What a shame for a truck that's barely broken in.

Bed is in bad shape, but front sheet metal is good.

If I could find a replacement, I'm sure I'd have incentive to let it go real cheap. :)
