Yeah, I actually think he cantacted me before. I hope he isn't offended by my not wanting to be listed on his page, or not wanting to list his. I've never really looked through his page with a fine-toothed comb, though, I must admit. Right now I'd rather just keep my name unnassociated with anything in Pakistan.

Yeah, I know. Just thought it was weird. We're not really at war with Afghanistan, either though.

The same guy has contacted my club, Arizona Virtual Jeep Club, and sends us links to his club website with tech articles and stories every now and then.

I just did a search on Pakistan and I found this topic.. I just wanted to thank all the guys with the nice comments and say that I was not offended by anyone.. It is your choice to reply or not to reply.. to join or not to join.. I am cool with it...
About the Taliban coming from Pakistan... Its true that quite a few of them did get trained in Pakistan.. but not ofiicially under the government.. or by the Pakistan army... They were trained by the same extremist groups that are now protesting on the streeets.. and they definately do not form a majority here in Pakistan...

Islamabad Jeep Club is welcome in my world anytime. If we could find more common ground (like wheeling) with other countries there would be less misunderstanding and wars. I for on would love to wheel in Pakistan and would take them on the "Con if they wanted to come on over.

Thanks for the offer... We at the Islamabad Jeep Club would definately love to have some wheeling guest over here and would be delighted to join you ppl there in the US... I agree... Jeeps can fight wars by prevening them... We have a lot to learn about and from each other.. Getting to know each other would solve a lot of misunderstandings..
