Why don't you get on a ramp and flex it to the limits then take some measurments as for where to mount them do some geometry and think what would be the best place

You should get shocks with round bodies and chrome shafts that move in and out of the round bodies. These shocks work great.

They bolt right up under the Jeep.

That was a really good answer...

you didnt ASK, but if your worried about mountign yoru shocks on a cross member, you will loose some dampening ability.

see my "pic", and no I didnt make it specially for you...

Example:
At a 45 degree shock angle you only have 70.7% of the shock's dampening ability for vertical wheel travel.

Get a stiffer shock for higher angles.

If you want to use your revolvers to thier full potential I suggest remounting your shocks at angle and getting rid of those fawking shock mounts on the axle that get caught on everything, here is what I did with my heep
