We took the F350 out BETA testing for Edge products...emptied the cab of junk and removed the beer cans from the bed - friend of mines F350 dually we put the Juice setting to Extreme (Level 5) and a exhaust temp warning at 1300...

We did a run this morning (cold air and it was about 40 degrees outside - may have helped a little) and ran an average of 8.00 seconds 0-60! Now for a big honkin truck this outstanding for something that has a turning radius of a block and a half!

We are set to put it on the Dyno this weekend (hopefully) and will post up the results...

I am testing this on my 2000 F250 7.3 SRW and if all goes as planned it should run in the high 7's if we can keep the tires from spinning...

Weekly Run 0-60 Results and what we reported to Edge for BETA testing:

Run 1:
Attitude set to 0, Defuel on WOT set to on, EGT pull back set to 1300, Low boost defueling set to lowest smoke setting.
Location was side of the interstate just after an on ramp (65 mph speed limit so nothing illegal)
Time 11.16 seconds

Run 2:
Attitude set to 5, Defuel on WOT set to on, EGT pull back set to 1300, Low boost defueling set to lowest smoke setting.
Location was side of the interstate just after an on ramp (65 mph speed limit so nothing illegal) SAME exact spot as run 1
Time 9.30 Seconds (SWEET!)
Back down record set at 44%
Notes: 2-3 shift was prolonged. Engine got close to redline, backed down a bit, then had to increase more for the shift.

Run 3:
Attitude set to 5, Defuel on WOT set to OFF, EGT pull back set to 1400, Low boost defueling set to highest response setting.
Location was side of the interstate just after an on ramp (65 mph speed limit so nothing illegal) SAME spot as 1 & 2
Time 9.07 seconds
Back down record set at 43%
Notes: Check engine light came on momentarily just prior to 2-3 shift. Alert for EGT was set at 1300 and went off just before the shift.

Run 4:
Attitude set to 5, Defuel on WOT set to on, EGT pull back set to 1300, Low boost defueling set to lowest smoke setting.
Location was side of the interstate just after an on ramp (65 mph speed limit so nothing illegal) Same spot as 1, 2 & 3
Time 10.51 seconds
Back down record set at 23%
Notes: DID NOT PUT PEDAL TO WOT FOR THIS RUN. Hard shifts

Performed on 10/11:
Run 5:
Attitude set to 5, Defuel on WOT set to OFF, EGT pull back set to 1400, Low boost defueling set to highest response setting.
*Evolution Level 2 Program loaded*
Location was side of the interstate just after an on ramp (65 mph speed limit so nothing illegal) SAME spot as all previous
Time 8.03 seconds
Back down record set at 23%
Notes: Felt like the limited slip dual rear end was having trouble maintaining grip

Run 6:
Attitude set to 5, Defuel on WOT set to OFF, EGT pull back set to 1400, Low boost defueling set to highest response setting.
*Evolution Level 2 Program loaded*
Location was side of the interstate just after an on ramp (65 mph speed limit so nothing illegal) Run in opposite direction from the other runs.
Time 7.93 seconds

Run 7:
Attitude set to 5, Defuel on WOT set to OFF, EGT pull back set to 1400, Low boost defueling set to highest response setting.
*Evolution Level 2 Program loaded*
Location was side of the interstate just after an on ramp (65 mph speed limit so nothing illegal) SAME spot as 1-5
Time 8.00 seconds
Back down record set at 23%

This is all done with NO physical modifications to the truck - exhaust, intakes, propane, etc...AND the bleed gate is not disabled

0-60 time trials are lame, get that PSD out on the 1/4 mile track. Hell I dont even know what a good 0-60 time is. That and who has a correct speedometer reading

Congrats on your truck though, im happy your happy with its performance on just a box.

I have heard really good things about the attitude. Kinda pricey for my tastes though.

Its nice to see the Powerstroke boys catching up to the Cummins boys. Competition is fun. It sure is a good time to own a light duty diesel truck. :D

Yeah! Or the 1/8 at least.

My 03 CTD with a Bully Dog box dyno'd at 398/801 at the rear wheels. And did a best of 10.55 @66.02 in the 1/8.

60' 2.367
330 6.012
1/8 10.554
mph 66.02

Foot to the floor (bouncing off rev limiter) 4wd high 2nd gear. I did a 6 wheel drift 2 feet towards the right lane and scared the shit out of the kid in the mustang that I BEAT.

Dude, I think scaring them into lifting is cheating. Of course, I guess if I was in a 2500 pound Mustang and I saw a 8000 pound dually heading my way smokin all 6 I'd lift too. :flipoff2:

Your tires should'nt be spinning 4x4. Are you positive you were fully engaged in 4x4. 500+hp doesnt even spin the tires in 4x4. This would explain your high 60ft times. That and try a 2200rpm launch. I use to get 1.9 60ft in my old 02 HO with just a Edge EZ (+60hp)

This was opening night at the new track. Lots of dirt on the starting line. Hell, even my Syclone was doing the sideways drift and only putting down high 7's. :( Only times I have though.

Not bad with just a box, add some more toys and see what you can do.

The only 0-60 time I have seen on the TDR was posted by Maddog. His truck is a 1995? F350 CC 4x4 with a 800 hp cummins and does 0-60 in 3.2 seconds.

As far as not being able to spin all 4 tires with under 500 hp is false. My truck is around 450hp, weighs 7000# and can spin all 4 during a 15psi launch.

Not too sure how accurate the edge evolution is, but according to it on the highest setting in the 0-60 time My truck will run 6.65 seconds 0-60 in 4wd w/ a pretty hard launch. That's the best I've had, but I've only done a total of 4 launches.....so I could probably get it lower w/ some practice as far as what rpm to launch at.

O and it's in a 2000 F250 powerstroke 4wd.

Keep in mind that Maddog's truck is lifted 6" and rolls on 36's... I can only imagine the times that engine would run if it was in something less aerodynamicly challenged.
