I have a 94 YJ with a GM 10 bolt front axle. It still has YJ steering box. I want to do a high steer( above the axle) kit on it. I saw some threads from years ago about piecemealing it together, parts mike.com, etc. Currently I do not have full turning radius as Jeep box is at the lock before it hits the stop on the spindle. Not a huge problem but would like to correct this as well.
What’s best approach/options?

Thanks

You may have to move steering box forward with longer pitman arm To get full lock. M.O.R.E. Makes a steering box mount that moves steering box 1” forward. And look for Waggoner pitman arm. It will be flat and longer this should get you lock to lock.

I personally like sky manufacturing high steer arms.

You’ll probably need to source Chevy/Jeep flat top knuckles and have them machined.

This should get you close. Steeeing box placement will depend on how far forward the axle is. Nothing is certain.
