I've got a buddy who just installed Yukon shafts in his rear 12b. One trip to Parker, and the left axle bent severely. Not even that tough of wheelin... 
After much difficulty getting it out, we see that the splines were heavily twisted. One shaft is fine, the other is all messed up. I think one possibly missed H/T.
