I've recently acquired a 98 ZJ for camping, overlanding, light wheeling ECT. Was going to do a 5.5 LA and 33's with lockers as a decent base. The unibody design however I keep hearing horror stories about tearing and splitting. Is there anything I can do to reinforce this and prevent any problems down the line. The ZJ is stock and has been owned by elderly since purchase so never any more than snow or occasional "oops wrong turn now we are in a muddy field". I may do 1 trip every two years either moab or rubicon. It's more just gonna be a driver and light weekend wheeler. Exo-cage is out automatically. But are there things I can have welded in to stiffen and reinforce. And what are the key Tearing areas?

I run a set of hd off-road stiffeners in the mid and db metal works fronts and my rear is bobbed and plated.
