Looks bad ass!!:smokin: I almost bought back my old powerwagon last week. I have a `95 cummins dually sitting here with an NV4500 in it. When I saw the ad for my old truck, I thought about this build and all of the parts I have. Too bad I was short on cash. My wife would have killed me for dragging home yet another project!!! What color are you going to paint it?

Got the radiator mounted. Had to notch out the bottom of the core support to get the radiator low and forward enough to fit so we could put a fan shroud on it.

In this pic you can also see how we moved the front spring hanger forward on the frame to fit the 54" chevy rear springs on the front axle. (This thing is SOFT)

Rear shackle on the front springs. Also, rear driveshaft came in at 36" yoke to yoke. Planning on rotating the pinion up a few degrees to take some of the angle out of it.

Here is how it sits right now. Still need to finish the bed mounts and the body work, stared the wiring today, need to install the exhaust, button up some smaller items and go over every bolt to make sure its road worthy, got some front shocks installed, still need to do the rear.

Brad's planning on going with FOA remote resivoir's but he has to sell his other 61/70hd combo first. (check classifeds for the ad under my name if interested)

Looking to have the body done and primed for its shakedown on the 9th of next month. (2 weeks)

Made its maiden voyage this weekend. :bounce: Couldnt put the front drivshaft in due to it pulling apart from excessive droop from the front axle so the entire weekend was 2wd. Flex in the suspension was the only thing that it had going for it and it really worked well all weekend. Open diff in the rear didnt seem to be too much of a limitation either. Lack of gearing didnt help at all though.

Random pics from the weekend. Enjoy:beer:

Didnt make this one but he gave it a heck of a shot trying. Front shaft or a locker in the rear and he would have been fine.

In this last pic he ends up coming down hard on the drivers front spring hanger and bends the plate its mounted to a bit. Drivers and pass fenders are taking a beating with the tires hitting them on the rear of the fenderwell and will have to be addressed for more clearance.

Planning on stretching the fender openings to accomodate the 37's. It was its shakedown run so thats what a shakedown run is for right?

These last shots are from Sunday. I ended up staying at Wishon Village with my oldest daughter has been living/working there all summer. (Wishon is just below Courtright reservoir where the Dusy trail-head is located)

Nice area

Went down the Dusy trail a ways. Took a couple shots to show how tight the trail can be to a fullsize. Didnt go too far as we were alone and nobody knew we were there if we came up missing.

Anyways, thats it... Truck ran great and didnt give us any troubles at all. Only major issue was tire rub in front which I knew was going to be an issue.

Will fix that and finish the rest of the truck (including paint) as time permits. Still needs some more wiring, AC, interior, t-case shifter, FOA shocks, sliders, bumpers, etc...

Feel free to comment or offer ideas...

Hope you enjoyed the pics.
