Southern Storm is the truck's orginial name. The truck was built in the late 80''s by Robbie Giles from goose creek S.C, it was red back then and at one point Robbie painted the truck yellow and called it southern star. After I bought the truck from Robbie about 2yrs ago I have since restored the truck and with Robbies permission kept the Southern Storm name. Southern Storm was the FIRST ever flip up bodied twin engine monster truck built. You can see old pic's of it on Dennis Tafts web site, pic's of it red and yellow as southern star.

Has a 6in lift with the long travel Kit, and a gayzor 3 inch body lift. On a set of Mickey Thompson Street lock rims, and Hankook 315/75/16
Good old 302, and an automatic.
I'm short a front bumper in those pics, but I'm in the process of welding up a pre-runner style front bumper, and doing a shackle flip to get rid of the blocks in the rear.
-Note how much the frame flexes:shaking:

What kind of engine work are you plannin on doing to the 300? Ive got one in my truck and am curious because not many people build them.
