SOLD SOLD SOLD

Triple Nickel KOH/XRRA buggy

I'm relisting it back up for sale. It had sold but the deal fell through a week ago, based on the buyer not able to come up with the funds.

You can see this buggy on the opening to SpikeTV Xtreme4x4 "KOH Special" as well as on the KOH'09 DVD. Its had coverage in Crawl, Four Wheeler and several others.

This is sitting just shy of full bump. I let the Nitro out on long road trips to get the buggy to tuck behind the racer box. Since I just came back from KOH thats 1600 miles for me of less drag.
Ride height is about 5"s taller in front, and 6"s in back.

Sorry I've got two Duramax's as it is. Don't need a third truck.

Wyatt, post up the motor specs.

I along with others where under the impression it was a pretty much stock l33but after seeing your post on jak it's far from it.

Its nothing big, just warmed over after I bent a rod in Disney after the 1st Disney Challenge race where this buggy took 2nd by 30 seconds. Sucking the motor full of water @ WOT upside down in a 2 foot deep lake will do that.

I dug around forever for the freaking cam card last night and receipt with the details thanks to the BJ proding he was giving me. I couldnt find any of it, so I just called the engine shop and asked this morning. TR220 lift cam (very mild) I think Dave told me makes the lift .550, stock crank, GM Performance rods and stock LS6 Springs from the dealer, Clevite bearings and Melling Hi-Flow Oilpump. He couldnt remember if he left the stock pistons or not, I think he did, he thinks he didn't and said they should be SRP's cause thats what they use for everything else. He said they cleaned up the heads but didnt hog them out. Also he's going to dig for the invoice if he gets a chance and get me a copy. I asked about the dyno sheet from break in and he said that the one he gave me was for the same motor they had done a few weeks prior. All the same parts. They broke mine in on a test stand not a dyno stand. That sheet said 398hp.

I've messed with the oil pump and thought the Melling wasnt working at one point and put a stock one back on it (turns out bad guage). Jabnasty ended up with the Melling on his. Jab ended up replacing mine but it ended up on DSI's buggy for KOH'10. I have since put a Melling back on, when I had the oilpan off to fix a leak back by the remote leads.

Aside from the guage issue I had a themostat stick once, and had to swap that out. Didnt get over 230 though.

Buggy fully gets it, and will light 'em off. Motor is throaty but nothing radical.

Pics dont do it justice, but to do justice to the pics they suck! Cloudy, windy, crappy day, crappy camara, and a semi clean car equal crap on the pics.

Thanks Nolen, and Bones.
Its a damn good car, we've had a lot of fun with it. It goes just about anywhere, and can do just about anything, it even rolls over on command :homer:
