anyone convert a soft top to a hard top

too bad it doesn't have a running motor and tranny. You could get 1300 for it. Donate it to a charitable cause, put $5000 on the estimated amount (you can claim up to $5K without a vehicle inspection) Then when you write it off you get 1/3 of that back in your federal tax return. You could probably get an additional $300 for the leaky top... I'd buy the old top from you if you were local.

Fiberglass isn't hard to work with, a lot easier than metal in my opinion. Those curved window tops are a pain to replace the viewports. Not hard, but time consuming. For me, chopping the top of the other and swapping them out is going to be a lot more labor intensive. Definitely worth it if you didn't have a fiberglass top. Since you have a removeable top though, For me, that fiberglass top would have to be totally unrepariable to make it worth doing. I emphasize the "FOR ME" part of that statement. If you don't have any experience working with fiberglass and plastics, but do have the equipment and skills to weld and fabricate body panels you may have an easier time doing the cut and swap.

I got the solution ... I'll trade you my perfect fiberglass removable hardtop with tinted slider windows thule roof racks and sunroof for your tin top zuk
my state (NH) couldn't Give a damn less about back registration titles or what not .. you figure a way to get it shipped your problem is solved i get a clean TT tub

Somewhere up there he said it was a rusty piece of shit. Eureka is on the coast my man. Of course, our idea of rusty junk and your idea of rusty junk are probably entirely different:laughing:
