Just checking. We gave a local shop an order for 4 driveshafts the first of November, 2 for my build and 2 for Levis build, we got the "gonna be done thursday" story for weeks. I pulled the plug on them on my order and gave it to Longview Driveshaft, ordered it last Tuesday, Cecil built them on Wensday and I installed them on that Friday! Levis shafts finally got done this week, the front was made of 3" and the rear was 3 1/2", AND the front was built the rears length and the rear was built the fronts length!:shaking: Missed all the way around.

Blumenthals drive line is the only place to go, Larry Jordon wheels with us and knows how to build shafts. they do all of mine

I guess I am a little more bias...I would go with Blumenthals....I worked with them for 6 years and Larry has his stuff together and knows what he is doing...Tell him Larry sent you...

Not sure if anybody has said it, but you might check with Blumenthal's, they do a great job!!! :

They built both of mine, and have broken 2 yokes on t-case, but shafts are fine.

Wonder what took sooooo long? I would think any shop that does any volume would be on an overnite parts program. I ran Longviews shafts originally on the Caddi with no problems. I wont look anywhere else!

How long does it normally take Bluementhals to make our types of shafts? And what size tubes do they use for 1350 joints for shafts built for buggies?

took them 2 days to build mine.

I don't remember what tubing he used on mine, but I've dragged it all over the rocks in Clayton without an issue.

I use powder drive in Wichita. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Never taken more than 4 days.

Because I would like to know what they have built for others!

I have 3" .120 in the rear of mine with 1410s and the front is a 1410 3" to my carrier bearing to a 2.5 1410 to the axle all .120 wall. lots of rock rash will not dent

I sell Strange chromoly driveshafts, they come avaliable in 3in or 3 1/2 in. shafts they are 100% TIG welded with 4130 Billet 1350 series yokes and electonic balancing. Im not real familiar with rock buggies but i would think less rotating weight and strength of the chromoly would be the way to go. However Inland on meridian makes pretty good mildsteel ones also.
