As said before, it's looking great. Did you rattle can that bed or use a gun? It came out real nice. Any plans to cut up the front fender above the tire to 'smooth' out the lines?
I spent entirely to long with body filler to smooth out the bed, then rolled on good ol rustoleum, 3 coats. I love the color but it fades quickly which sucks.

Yea the front fenders are going to have to be hacked way up because the thing flexes so much as is. Once its rolling again I'll trim the fenders or do something like that.

Own weight! 375ml and 200 psi in the shocks, going to wait until drivetrain and boatsides are on to tune it further, but a pretty good first guess....

Seats mounted. Ended up running 2 bars from slider to slider, was going to bend some tube but this was simpler and stronger in the end...

Trailer flex, use every inch of the 16" Shocks....

Image

Full droop of the 16" shocks....will be limit strapping this a lot for reasons seen in the next picture...

I've got 2 limit straps for each wheel on their way, but after seeing this much movement i'm going to order another one for the center to limit the crazy amount of side movement. The trac bar is nearly 40" long, but not long enough apparently....I'll use the 2 sides so i don't rip the shocks apart, and the center to limit overall droop

Just ordered a 10" long strap, should give me around 7-8" of droop depending where I put it. With that much it JUST gets out of the "vertical" plane of movement for the axle.

Mounted up the axle side limiting straps tonight, strapped at a little under 15" of shock extention figuring the straps will strech a bit under big loads, provides me some wiggle room.

Also mounted up my hawse fairlead. Want to get cranking on the electrical but i;ve been working 12 hours days for the last few weeks so not enough time to sit down and get that ball rolling.

Spent Saturday re-wiring everything. Moved battery to cab, ran new lines, fuel pump, e-fan 2 speeds, etc etc etc. Got her to turn over probably would have fired up if i had gas. Sunday mounted shocks and did some random welding....few pics

Rear shocks. Using BBCS lifted the back up a bit, with the spare and other shit in it should settle out nicely

still plenty of room

Trying to hunt down a garage to finish up the rest of the shit, we'll see how it goes.

RaceTrim from JeepSwag on here...really nice for the money.

Haven't toched it for the last month or so. Finally got a dope garage that i'm moving into at the end of the month, should be able to get some more work done on it then.

BBCS work really well. Had them up front when I had the leafs and they worked great.

In other words, doubler itself is done, just need to get it in the truck and make shifters...its clocked completely flat, technically 4 speeds, Front rear independent control along with different gearing if i want, should be fun.

Pretty darn short, 20" mounting flange to output yoke...

That is VERY close to what i have planned for mine in the rear! Only difference is I plan on covering the hoops with tubs to keep the bed looking mostly stock and running a B2 gas tank under the rear of the bed. Where are you gonig to mount the Spare? I think I'm going to go with a swingout

I plan to tie the hoops together with an angled spare tire mount and then sheet metal around the hoops to close up the bed. A 40 JUST fits between the hoops now sitting on the bed, so I want to keep the bed space maximized....just need the time to finish it up.

Oh, ok. Thats going to look great.

I haven't figured out how i am going to brace the center section yet, as i dont want to have a big bar running across the center.

Finished up most of the doubler yesterday other than final shifter locations...came out pretty fucking sweet.

Pictures:

Middle shift rail shifts the front range box. It pivots opposite the dana 20 so I'm probably going to bend it to look like an Ebrake...pull up high range, push down low range.

The allen head bolt on the bottom left is an adjustable pressure detent device, below the bolt is a spring and a check ball that indexes into detents that i machined into the shaft. Crank down on the bolt, shifting gets harder, loosen up shifting gets easier. It should prevent any jumping out of gear once its dialed in.

Moved most of the rest of my stuff to my garage, decided to go full hydro so got an orbital, new double ended ram and a cooler, picked up a bunch of metal to build a new floor, so with the doubler in hand now i should be able to get this bitch finished up soon.

How do you have a 2.72 gear in a 1354 that had a 2.48 ratio stock?
It doesn't, mike isn't familiar with the ratios and what not, he just did a lot of the work on it....both boxes have stock gears in them.

Sweet rig reminds me a bit of mine :p

whats your rim backspacing?? are those stock hummer H1 Beadlocks with a rock ring? i wanna tuck my tires more into my body... i was told the stock ones wont work with my steering setup
