i was interco's site and noticed they just released several new sizes, one of them being 43 x 17" SX stickies, Seems like they have 3 different tires that use the "SX" label,
hopefully it will be the TSL-SX, that seems like it could be a better tire than the Irok if it was sticky, plus it has a longer life, much deeper tread and re-groovable, unlike the IROK

anyone have any 43" stickies yet?

sounds like they are $700 each, and hard to get. too bad, they sure seem tougher than the IROKs i have. not a lot of people have them, hoping to hear from more folks like yourself

i have read that they require an inner beadlock, and they love to burp? any thought here?

There pretty much the norm around TN and AL now. They seem to work really well but they are Hell on front 60s. Yes they do burp air out of the inner bead a lot if you go below 10psi.
This buggy has some that he TN cut

Maybe RufftyTuffty will see this thread. He's in AZ here and has one of the first sets of 43" SX stickys. He has since gone to double beadlocks due to the burping issue because at higher pressures, they don't hook up so well. Hopefully he will chime in as he has wheeled these tires for 8 months, and is on the trails EVERY weekend. I talked to him about life of the tire, he said he's expecting ~12-16 months till they are bald on his wheeling schedule.

True for my old 42 17" tsl's, fawkers were horrible about that on the inside bead. I think some 17" rim shells are designed similar to the ghey 16.5" shells. I ended up running innerairlocks to put a permanent stop to it.

I've seen the reg 43" tsl sx in person and they are badass for sure.

Yes they are and yes they do.

IMHO the sticky SX is a totally kickass tire...i have run 2 sets of MAXXI SUX and 2 sets of IROKs (both stickies) before i got these and i can firmly say they are better than both of these by a long way in all conditions.

I would rate the sticky SX as the best trail tire period with the exception of some HP climbs going to the BFG but that said the SX it is looking like it will last 12 months (50 day runs) which is twice the life of a BFG around here.

Here's a pic from this w/e with 8 months of heavy use (~30 day runs).

These tires laugh at some of the toughest terrain any tire should be asked to traverse and they come back for more.

Yes they will burp below 10-12 psi...my answer was to ship my WE's off to Champion and they we're kind enough to double em for me...now at 5.5 psi all round and 140 lbs of H2O in the front and its heaven.

Yes these tires are expensive to buy and to ship but when your axle deep up shit creek these tires will get it done and get you home.

My 2c.

i still havent seen anyone say where they can be bought. is it just me or is this being kept on the d/l because of limited supply?
If you have a brain, a phone, and a CC, I'm pretty sure you could have a set ordered in under 10 minutes.

Call anyone who sells Interco tires and they should be able to get them for you. I was on the fence between these and the 42" Sticky Irok. I decide to go for the Sticky Irok due to not wanting a tire as large as the SX's, as well has having to purchase a new set of wheels. I ordered my Iroks about a month a half ago and they still have not shown up. So make sure to get the "we have them in stock and I can touch them quote" or it could take a while to get them. A fifth tire may not be a bad idea for a spare because of limited availability. Hopefully production will catch back up.

We have em on a couple new cars and for wheelin you can't beat them ! You won't like them at 70-80mph , but for an all around extreme wheelin tire we think their the best. and they look cool too...

not the stickies, but I have the 42" SXIIs and really like them so far. they are way better than the 42" iroks that were my previous set and they seem to work quite well in most situations. work great here in the midwest and also work great in Moab.

will be trying them out at Rausch Creek in about a month
