All magnets are not Rare earth magnets tho- The lights stay put, even after jumping, wheeling hard, etc-Rare earth magnets have a ton of holding power.

I dont have to worry about sourcing them, I dont manufacture the lights, but I'll pass it on- I dont know exactly what size they use, but the lights are 1 5/8 by 1/2 thick.
I did a quick search on round magnets with a hole in them and a RE magnet that size, with good "power" can run $13 ea or more.

Anyway, they are great lights, mine have never come off(just magnet, not screw holding it on) and I am 100% happy with them.

dont stare at the entire harness if you connect the entire thing up to powr :laughing:

I used these, they were cheap and work well enough. I cut up the harness to shorten them as needed. They have a 3M backing that held up well enough and also have a small tab for a screw too. I never bothered screwing them in and only had one fall off after the season.

70$ for 8 lights and 20' of chinese wire was good enough a deal for me

I'm happy with them, especially for the price. They aren't very bright (can't even see them during the day) but once its dark on the trail the light up the underside of the Jeep really well.

I like the magnet idea, I might epoxy some magnets to the backside of them and see how it works.

I receive my whole order last Thursday. I ordered a few other $2 gadgets with the LEDs. Check further back in this thread to see when I ordered them. I'm not sure when I will get these lights hooked up to verify Doc's theory.
