I will be in the B class. I might be the slow one because I have a 4cyl but the suspension makes up for it...

You can find out more about the team at Devildogracing.net (shameless Plug I Know) while I'm at it we also have a facebook page. See you guys out there either on the 17 or on the 31

I don't particularly care about the numbering - no real particular attachment. To me it doesn't make much sense to change it, but whatever. What's the reason for the change?

Nice XJ BTW - B class should be crowded & fun this year it sounds like :D

Cabe told me they are going to four numbers this year, with the letter of the class you are in at the beginning.
I really hope not. I don't want to have to run (and buy) special stickers just for TREC. then I would have to switch the stickers 4 times per year just for TREC. Ultra 4 doesn't allow letters for unlimited class, and as I said before, 9009 is a legal ultra 4 number.

looks nice :smokin:

what class are you running?
Casey - Built to Jeepspeed Challenge specs too... this one will give you a run. I look forward to seeing this rig.

Jeepspeed guy (I can't remember your name, sorry!)

JUST REMEMBER on the shake down runs, the park is open and there are kids on ATV's and Idiot adults on ATV's FREAKIN EVERYWHERE. So keep the speeds in check. It is a little safer to go faster in the trucks only section but you still have to be careful. When you head down there, talk to Kyle and he might let you stick around after close for a little bit and make a lap or two at speed. Introduce yourself and let him know you are new to the TREC series and and will be racing in the B class this year!!!

EASY GIRLS! Stay calm

We currently have people who are going to be scoring the events for us with either a barcode system or transponder system. So at this time, we are good to go.

Larry has the decision been made which? Dont really matter just wondering.

How do you all feel about have class specific prefixes on our numbers? For instance.... all b class rigs might start with 55... so I would be 5529 and so on... thoughts?
I would say no. I think it would be better for trec, ECORS, and maybe even dirt riot to get together on rules and numbers so that if some of us decided to run different sanctions we could. Matching up with KOH is great for safety, but is also on the opposite coast, which means very few of us will be running it. And.. if the more local sanctions have the same rules and numbering system, it is more likely that the population of racers will grow.

OK - how about this. We run a Class letter prefix in front of the number (which we are actually suppose to be doing anyway) like on my doors B529. For those of you who run other series where you dont need the letter, make it magnetic and take it off... problem solved.
