ive been running one in my truck for the past three months wheeling twice a month and dd duty, it was rough at first but after about i week i changed the gear oil and now its super smooth with 37" mtrs

Have mine in the rear cuz I was sick of DD'ing with welded. Works great on the street. And as far as having it in the rear, I bent and tore my ifs housing with zero issues from the spartan. More then pleased for the price.

i never noticed my spartan unlocking when both wheels were off the ground. my friends is acting weird we jacked it up and spin the tires and get tons of clicking. (he would hold 1 wheel. and i would spin the other) both sides. we took the diff out and all the teeth on the locker look like the edges have came off. says its fine driving straight but when he turns to left the tiniest bit it clicks like crazy. could this be just the springs? i was also able move the locking mechanism by using my finger. its a 4cyl spartan ran with 34's

Wayne at DiffsOnly worked with Randy's to get me a replacement locker within a couple weeks... and hooked me up with some gears :smokin:

locker broke and took out the carrier and gears. from everyone can tell, it was more of a random break than anything...

i broke one of the axle spacer washers when a stock birf on 40's full lock broke, but those things were my fault. locker lived no wear on pins or plates after a year of pounding

i have been running one in the rear of my toy on 37's have had no problems with it. i went with it because the pins look bigger than the one in the lockrite.

i have a lockrite and spartan out i'l get pictures of both next time i'm at the shop
