I need tire advice. Searched and didn't find much.

I’m looking at getting some new tires in 37x12.5-17 primarily for rock crawling and trail use. I want radials and these are going on a light 3200 lbs jeep with an 80” wheelbase and beadlocks. This is not a trailered vehicle, I drive it back and forth to Moab (8 hour drive each way) and around Colorado. I'm not super worried about tread life, but stickies that wear out super fast are not a good option.

What do you think about these and why? Just want something that hooks up well in the rocks.

1.BFG KM2
2.Goodyear MTR
3.Irok radials
4.Pitbull rockers

Thanks

I think I'm leaning towards the Iroks of MTR's. Both seem to have good traction, durable sidewalls. I'm sure the MTR's wear better, but the Iroks are a little more aggressive. Also, both of those tires are fairly light as well.

That's a good point beadlocks air pressure is huge!I ran toyo MTs forever they amazed me every trip at 3-4psi.I will add I've read alot on tires and I believe (along with many others)Iroks are overrated. They have lost lots of ground in the tire market over last few years.Check out Trailworthy fab they have great prices on 37" Goodyear MTRs not the military Goodyears the actual MTRs.Dirt cheap!!

Yep, stock wheelbase, which is short for 37's! 3200 lbs is REALLY light too for having a V8 and 37's. Most lifted V8 jeeps are way over 4000+ lbs, so this does help some with tread life, obviously heavy rigs eat tires faster.

Till the side wall lets go
Is the MTR sidewall all that weak?
