Just so Chris Cabrera can remind me that KOH will never have classes:flipoff2:
Here are the specs and the plan for the Spec Class that will also race in the EMC series of races.
All cars will be identically prepared and tuned. I am commisioning the first 6 cars that will be rentals for both individuals to race/recreate/learn about the sport and companies to do corporate outings. Very similar concept to Wide Open Baja cars but with a 'ProTruck' level of vehicle. We are overbuilding the car so that you can bolt in a bigger motor and bypasses and have a top level solid axle Ultra4 car.
The marketing partners involved in the series are also putting up significant dollars in contingency. And since every one is running the same parts, contingency = purse. Think lower entry fees than Ultra4 with up to twice the payout and less competition. I would like this to be rock racing's version of IROC from back in the day.
On to the specs of the car.
Jimmys 4x4 designed JK tube Chassis - CNC Bent and notched
Full Jeep JK skins including windshield
SpiderTrax Pro Series Housings and 300M internals
Yukon 3rd Members and Spools
Motive Gear 10" Gearsets
Atlas 3.0 Transfer Case
Falken 37" MT Tire
Mopar Performance Chrysler 5.7 Hemi and Engine Controller
Master Craft Seats and Belts
Griffin Radiator and Coolers
Fox 3.0 Coilovers and Bumps
Branik Aluminum links
Jimmys 4x4 TH400 HD "C" with billet internals
PSC Full Hydro Steering
Jazz 32 Gallon Fuel Cell with Alltech 'no foam' baffles and pump system
F.A.S.T. digital gauge pack and system monitors
Dynomax Exhaust
Still sourcing a few parts but the first car will debut at Offroad Expo in early October.
