Did you take any pics of the new transfer case mount?

I assume you double checked your motor mounts to make sure they are in good condition as those can cause busted tail housings.

The trick is getting the whole drivetrain to move as one unit. Easier said then done as frame flex can affect that movement too.
Just looked at a stock setup which has a small bracket that bolts to the NP205 and the frame with some 3/4 thick hockey pucks. The only other pads are under the foot of the adapter.

The side mount should keep torque in check. But with the NP203 mount in front how much does that affects that foot mount.

Here's a round rubber bushing that looks like a hockey puck . These are $1-2 at the autoparts store and 50 cents at Rockauto. Search on 2122
They have more give that the poly bushings

I don't have pics of the new mounts right now. I'll be shock tuning at the hammers next week, and when I get back I'll pull the skid plates and get some pics. The motor mounts and t-case mounts are all new and polyurethane.
Got the panels back from paint. Same color, but no dents for now. New amber light bar installed. GoPro and rear view camera installed.

can you post another steerigng arm pic? Will a two tooth gear puller get that off? I assume most conventional pitman pullers wont get around it?
Standard puller should be able to get it off.

Went shock tuning and testing at the Hammers this past week. Was able to get get shock tuned with Fox and Wayne from Alltech Motorsports. They did a really good job, and it is working really well in the desert. Only really two problems I need to fix. I broke a 9/16" bolt on the lower frame end on the front axle, and I am running out of power on the lake bed. Bolt problem should be easy, I'm going to up grade them to 5/8" bolts. We hit one of the dry lake beds, and all I could get out of it was 73mph @3200rpm in third. (3spd auto) I did find that I can hit 43 mph in first though. I was running most of the time in second and I could run that up to 70mph. 4.10's are in it now, going to go 5.13's. I can run my 4.10 arb with thick gears up front, but need to change the rear carrier. Replacing the rear detroit with a spool. I was pretty surprised that was all it would do, as I have had it up to 75 mph on the freeway with no problems, but I guess the altitude and sand are really sucking my motor down.

you still just using the corvetter m/c for brakes? Hows that thing do at slowing you down at speed now?
I think the desert is mostly loose sand, that will slow you down. Either that or he has been just using both feet. :mr-t:

Cool deal that you got the suspension dialed in. I can remember riding a friends Honda dirt bike when it was like new. He had set the suspension to what I called "couch soft" It was so soft I thought I was sitting on a couch. LOL But if you rode it smooth as in no hard landings, it was perfect as you could just fly through the bumps.

Still running the corvette master. It stops great. I can lock up the wheels if need be. Craig, here's a pic of the t-case cross members in it now. When I was down shock tuning, I did get tech inspected for koh. I just needed to add a support to the door bar, but everything else is good. Got my tech inspection band, and I will be in pit 136 Nitto Tire Trail.

I was moving pretty good through the course. Hit a couple of rocks with the drivers front tire and ended up snapping the sector shaft and cutting a tire. Everything is fixed and we are ready to go for Thursday. Looks like I should be starting mid pack. Fun times, everything so far except for that has been working great.
