Ill vouch for SRRS and Ultra4. Sometimes they have to make calls and decisions that won't make everyone happy. Unless you are around it a lot you might not understand. Its definitely not easy but I have never seen them be anything but fair.

The only people who would call them out are those that feel butthurt by them or those trying to do the same thing they are doing.
Sad state of affairs.

Only Edward Snowden can hide. No one else.

I think SRRS and Ultra 4 did a good job of picking out a fair hill for the competition that favored neither vehicle type. The times and the number of vehicle who didn't make it up did a good job of showing that. This had nothing to do with being a "race cource". It was a 30 second run, which is what the bouncers claim to be the king of. They just couldn't hang this time. Trophy trucks beat the dragsters down the dragstrip. That's called an ass kicking. :p

Good show out there last weekend. :smokin:

I am not butthurt about it as I follow and respect both ends of the spectrum and agree this hill was better than the first. I also agree some of the U4 cars should be able to make a hill like showtime, but non of them tried. I think the srrs vs u4 is probably good for the sport on an exposure level but will end with a u4 car winning damn near every time so its kinda pointless except for the fun factor and thats why we all do this. I am waiting for them to pick a hill with a level of difficulty where its not just fastest time but if it can be made at all.

Quite a few Ultra 4 buggies got yardsaled on that hill. No one is really talking about that. Are we supposed to assume they were just shitboxes or what?

FWIW, I burnt damn near 20 gallons of fuel trail riding all weekend with good friends and could give a shit about the whole thing, some people just want to point out whatever it is to make their argument regardless of the overall picture.

2 of the top 3 cars were soild axle. I'm also sure TC new rig cost just a little more than $40k.

The U4's may cost more to build, but you can take them anywhere. I'd much rather have a rig that I could take to Hammers, short course, desert and than go open a can of woo pow on some rock bouncers.:D

No offense, but there hasn't been any U4 that has won a bouncer shootout. They've won race courses but have yet to conquer any bounty hill style shootout. Until then, the "U4 dominates and is the bestest" argument is invalid because they won't try or compete in an actual bouncer shootout.

Do you watch the TV cause it's the shortest episode? Or the most entertaining? The most entertaining to me as a nutswinger watching the backdoor shootout, was Overtime running up the right side line!
Ask your wife/girlfriend which she likes best, the quickest, or the most entertaining.

I look at all this as entertainment, not because I think I'm gone win an internets prize.

I think next time the bouncers should run a full endurance race a few hours before the shoot out, you know, to make things fair. :D

If it was so easy that a 4 cylinder could do it, then why didn't all that awesome horsepower and huge tires just destroy everybody?

One of these days a bouncer will win a shootout. Until then, bouncers are 0 for 3. :p

Race car won on a race course, shocker. Bouncers are 0 for 3 on race courses, U4 guys are 0 for forever on even attempting real bouncer hills haha.


Depending on how Ken Blume is categorized I guess the above is incorrect. I seen video of him attempting hills in his pro-mod.

I enjoyed watching the RBs at the backdoor shootout. That was a great fucking show, but the U4s are spanking most of the RBs. Goes to show what a great suspension and driver will get you. Your not going to get many U4 guys to do really dumb hills. The cars are too nice to roll down those hills. Most of us actually try to make the chassis look nice as opposed to building them out of scrap bends we previously fucked up:flipoff2: Flatbills-3 straw hats-0
