New Interco size rumor

I heard a rumor that Interco is going to introduce a tire about 40x11" for a 16" rim

Could there be any truth? This person thought it was going to be a Bogger....has anyone heard anything?

the 38.5 x11 boggers do great where i wheel, i would buy them in a 40x11 if they arent to expensive.

i havent heard any thing to verify a 40x11 but i hope they dont seems pretty lame what the hell are you gonna squeeze those on a dually or something

The mud guys like tall narrow tires for mud pits with a solid bottom, since the narrow tire cuts down to the bottom quicker and dosen't cause as much drag.

1100 x 16 michelin xl tires are almost 39 and 11 wide. i like mine, and they work well. i would like more tire options since they are not for sale right now. since all you guys say tall skinny tires suck tell me more how many times you have run them....

of course im in a bigger heavier rig...

Skinny tires have their place, and a 40x11 Bogger DOES have a place... I could see that tire working very well in a lot of southeast terrains.

They have enough tall/thin tires coming out... They are making the damn IROK in like every size imaginable x 13.50. A 49x13.50 will look ridiculous, but I guess they need at least ONE real tall/thin tire for sell.
I wanna see a 45" Irok, right between a 39.5 and the 49, still a tit bit larger than a 44.

Also, FAWK a 40" SX... bring on the 44" SX!!

If they did make a skinny tire that tall they would sell the hell out of them.

I love my 35x10.5 boggers, they work damn well on my mudbogger and would probably work better than my 36 sx's on the muddy trails around here. And they only weigh 80 lbs mounted on the aluminum 8 inch wheels in the pix below so they would definitely be lighter that my 36 sx's mounted on steel wheels.

I've got the skinny boggers on my M37 (39.5X11)...they fit and look great on the old military iron...Not too many stock trucks out there that you can put those on! As far as they wheel, I love 'em. They've never let me down. I've done alot of winter wheeling and they cut through 2'-3' of snow without a problem.
