Surprise, surprise. So far I have called Superior, Dutchman, Randy's (Yukon), etc and no one seems to make an alloy long inner. I am trying Warn next.

From what I can tell (using the search), the length is 37.1". Everyone seems to stop at 36" more or less.

Is there a solution that I have not found yet? Looking to upgrade to better shafts/u-joints for my 3/4 ton D44 in the Scout.

Dang Dodge...they just had to be different.

I woudlnt go moser if at all possible. The ears tend to oval out and brake off. Imo theire shafts are total junk. Of the 3 people I know who have them and my self every single one of them has been to long. Mine were 1/4 inch to long and someof the others were in excess of 3/4 of an inch. My friend broke both Inners on the first wheeling trip which also completly deformed the outers. I'll say it again their shafts are junk!

I wouldn't say this is true any more. Moser has completly redun there front shafts. They are calling the the MAX front performance axles. They are know made from 4340 cromo and are thru hardend the entire length of the shaft(even the ears).

I have been working with moser for some time testing these new shafts (lots of water in the tires)and have yet to break one. And in talking with them they have also been bench testing these axles and the ears are not stretching or breaking like with the old shafts.

Interesting. That is good to hear. I planned on calling them to talk about this further (since they seemed to be the only game in town), but now I am actually looking forward to it!

Also thanks for the info on the stock axle that was offered. My plan is to keep the stocks I have now as spares with the 760X ujoints and run the alloys with something like the Bobby Long joints. I think that will work for my needs pretty well.

Thanks.
