Camden made them years ago. So that is the old version. Camden got bought out and the new owners want to revive the Suzuki supercharger... Check out the message at the top of their web site. They hope to retool the design and release it again.

My buddy Tim from Gadzuks ( Who helped invent the missing link shackle ) just bought a Zuk from an ex-member ( who had the original set of missing links ever built ) with a Camden on it for $3K. I remember when he first showed up to a club meeting with that thing, took off and almost rolled it coming out of the parking lot hot shifting into second doing a hard left, maxed the left front missing link and got way squirrelly. It worked though!

In reality though...you could do a 1.6 swap for less money and more power.
Are you sure??????

Stock Samurai ~65HP
Stock 1.6 16V ~100HP
=~50% increase
So yea, a little more than a 45% increase, but can you buy a 1.6 16V, wiring harness, adapter kit, redo the wiring harness (either buy the books, or pay someone to rewire), and all the other misc. stuff, I may be forgetting, cheaper than $1500??
Don't get me wrong, if I had the choice, I think I would go with the 1.6. But I think it would cost more money for the 1.6 16V swap, for aproximately the same overall HP.

Maybe engines and stuff are cheaper up here...but doing a 1.6L swap for $1,500 (canadian monies) isn't all that hard. For $1500 US, you would still have money for a header and cam.

But the 1.6 will make the power with a lot lees strain.

If you put a blower on a stock 1.6 8v you'd have like 116HP.

I would do this personaly. Get a custom ground low end blower cam and run a smaller blower pulley and get a LOT more horse power. By then you might need some custom JE pistons though :( but worth it for all the power. Can anyone say competition for the 4.3????

Hell yea dude, thats what Im talkin about! I would seriously think a blown 1.6 8v with all the trimings would have over 150HP. Its like 80 stock....with a Weber,Summo II head, ported intake,Header/Exaust,Under drive pully,Wires and a Coil Would any one disagree that it would put out AT LEAST 100HP.Then with all that working together put a blower on top thats 145HP and like 200 lbs.
