Those Red winches sure are a nice bit of kit, though the wiring on them is way under the dimension needed. And definitely something I would recommend you rework before you kill a motor or an Albright
thanks for the info... I know ill be doing some wiring soon.. may as well fix that while im doing it if its an issue

Yeah I know the Danish dealer pretty well and it didn't take long for the shared wire in the middle of the engines to become so hot it lost its color! :O And that whole idea of a sharing the same wire just doesn't seem right to me. Anyways when it comes to finish and function of the freespool etc it really is a nice winch, no doubt!

I am in the process of redoing my shock towers ( raising the rear tower about 3" more and the front 1.5ish) to lower overall ride height and still have shock shaft around 50-50 on a 16" travel shock.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a set of towers front/rear if I do run a new batch. since they are kind of a pain to make I might as well run a bunch if I do it... ( you will need to cut into the rear tub to fit back towers and cut inner wings to fit them )

PM me for more info if interested

(front tower)

(rear tub cut)

I broke more stuff b/c I am an idiot and made another mistake... lol

this time I made my wife rebuild it...

re-braced it all used stronger materials and need to fix the massive top link error I made that caused the failure. build.. break ... learn... rebuild I guess =p

Atleast you have the balls to admit it and post it so that others can learn from it, not many have that.
And I guess you could always go back to leafsprings, seeing as you still have the front mounts on your chassis :flipoff2:

Q: Why the saw in the coilover? Did you have to cut something to take it apart? And where you able to just change the piston-rod?

That is crazy awesome skills and an awesome build!
