Pro Comp Tire Problems

Note: All material is (alleged) just like UFO's do not exist

I have problems with Pro Comp Tires. :shaking:

I took my truck to an independent ASE facility for a second opinion and they stated that these PRO COMP tires were indeed DEFECTIVE which caused my vehicle to drift twards one way of the road after I had my brand new truck aligned. "There will be some bad eggs out of a couple 100,000 tires."

One tire even developed a tiny bulge in it.

4 wheel Parts refused to refund and/or replace my tires (12,000 mile) even though I had purchased their $100.00 tire warranty.

They stated, "Unless the tire has visible damage, we cannot/will not warranty it. Funny, that's not what they said when selling me their tire warranty, "If anything goes wrong with the tire, we will replace it for free."

So, I took the following actions that gets a corporation into trouble, which really :mad3: upset them.

I decided to look their Company Reliability Report on the Better Business Bureau website located at ww.labbb.org. It stated the following below:

4 wheel Parts has an "Unsatisfactory Record" with the Better Business Bureau when it comes to answering consumer complaints along with the following below:

*Delivery Issues
*Difficulty obtaining Refunds :nuke:
*Overcharging:
*Poor Installation::flipoff:
*Poor Customer Service
*Billing Disputes
*Failure to Deliver Ordered Merchandise /Missing Items/Incorrect Items

All this can be verified by obtaining a company reliability report from the Better Business Bureau at ww.labbb.org

If I had read the BBB reliability report on 4 wheel parts or somebody would have warned me, I would have not have spent $15,000.00 at their store.
:barf:

If an "Improper installation and/or fraud" has been made upon your vehicle, for best results (first) file/send a report to the following (3) State/local agencies set up to help you below on the internet.

ww.badbusinessbureau.com :vader2:
ww.autorepair.ca.go
ww.bbb.org

Then immediately mail a copy complaint to the Bureau of Automotive Repair and the District Attorney's Consumer Protection Division for your State listed below:

Dude, if you have a tire pull. Just swap the tire to the other side of the truck for a week or so then put it back. Bulges aren't nothing new, where sidewall belts overlap are common places for small bulges or depressions. Most tire dealer/distributors will not replace a tire for a pull. You should try dealing with goodyear or michlelin for that, they will tell you flat out to jump in a lake. Some tires will simply have a higher or lower rolling resistance, thus causing a pull on certian suspension designs. The taller the sidewall cross section, the more likely it is to pull. Seems like a lot of bullshit to go through when a curb or glass bottle will get the tire replaced. :shaking:

NOW you know why I put this up.

I've talked to everyone in the industry and I wanted to hear from you too.

I've been also told that light tire pulls are normal.

Listen, we put the tire on the left/front side, SEVERE tire pull to the left.
We put the tire on the right/front side, SEVERE tire pull to the right.

I mean, you have to physically hold the steering wheel and the wheel has a wobble in it from the tire bulge. I got one ASE certified mechanic from a place, where they gave me a write up, "DEFECTIVE TIRES".

SO, yeah, some tire pull is normal and what you mentioned is normal, but this is insane........reaching almost undrivable......this is not a FARM TRACTOR on the TV series, "THE DUKES of HARZARD COUNTY," its a $50.000.00 truck.

That's why I put this posting up.

Free Replacements

I just checked my emails and itis true that I am not the only one having this problem with SEVERE TIRE PULLS with PRO COMP TIRES. My emails read that many customers were shipped out brand new tires w/o them even taking back the old ones.

Jeezus....... Z71 how many forums are you gonna register too and post this same shit? You are on basically every forum i frequent and i get rather tired of scrolling 5 miles through your posts. I would be willing to bet there are also multiple posts on this same subject here....... step away from the fucking internet

As most already know 4 wheel parts is NOT a place to do business as MANY have posted in the past.

If you want a new tire just slash the sidewall with a knive and tell them it tore on a rock or something up at the trail and they WILL replace it!

Some insight to my HORROR........Maybe I should have a milkdud. read this and tell me what to do.

I like you very much because you are very honest

I purchased a supercharger from them and upon initial installation, it had nothing, but problems.....severe detonation problems.

I worked with them moths......VISA only allows a 90 day hold....big mess.
I even involed the supercharger manufacture in the PROCESS.

Supercharger nmanfacture said on speakerphone, "Ground the truck and give him a rental car now." 4 wheel parts refused...it ok...he'll just drive the truck for now and not BOOST IT until we figure out what the porblem is.

The installation occured at only 6,000 miles on my brand new truck. I took my truck to a place where they only do BLOWERS and Superchargers, they dropped the oil pan......what do you think they found.

Installation silicone in the oil pick-up filter screen restricting oil flow causing an overheating condition....DETONATION.

The engine of my brand new truck turned into a "Grenade" machanics said destroying a brand new $50.000.00 truck.

I am out $7,500.00 in expenses and 4 WP hasn't paid a dime.

I did not put this on the WEB...I put on the WEB, if anyone has a problem with this company and wishes to filea complaint...this is how to do it to get 100% results......

50k truck huh? And your bitching about a tire? I'm wondering how you got your truck up to 50,000 bucks. Did you drive it thru JCwhitney with a crap magnet attached? So your not fucking happy with your tire. You've been told how to fix the problem so take your tit whinning ass somewhere else. And Like the MAN above said stop posting your shit on every website about trucks. I get tired of seeing you spew.

Soooo...how long is it going to take for you to come back with some new tire brand or company that you ABSOLUTELY LOVE and start spamming the board with their url? You're a tard...besides the fact, how the fuck (and why the fuck) do you spend 15k at 4wpw anyways? Idiot.

Lesson learned. Buy tires in your hometown at a reputable shop & when something goes wrong, DRIVE to the place that sold them to you & show them how phucked up the tire is. The factories are notorious for dumping their junk tires on these "ship it to your door" wholesalers. Why do you think the price is so good?

So you had been having problems with a tire you bought there for 6K miles, couldnt get it solved, then spend another few grand at the same place just for shits and grins. Or was it the other way round? Either way your a dumbass for going back more than once. Your also a dumbass for spamming every board on the internet you can find. Take your supercharged 50K piece of shit street truck and fuck off, we dont need the spam and after your disappearance on the other boards after posting I highly doubt you will have anything of value to ever add here except more spam.

Cry about your stupid decisions elsewhere.

LACTATING (optional)

Take your supercharged 50K piece of shit street truck and #%*!*#!,

WOW what a mouth on that Hillbilly...............this is why they should totally ban "CORNFEEDING and INBREEDING" at the same time.

Maybe you have been bothered slightly.....but I have obtained VITAL emails from peolple of DEFECTIVE TIRES.

THese people emailed me when I made these posts and they told me that their PRO COMP TIRES developed SEVERE TIRE pulls at 20,000 miles.

PRO COMP immediately shipped out a pair of (4) to each customer w/o even asking to see or have the others back...........clearly knowing that that there is a bad batch out there.

Do Society a FAVOR, STAY in school and try to recover the breast-feeding your clearly were DENIED/REFUSED.

Already reported to the mods, spamming is against policy around here.

Z71sc, if you were a contributing member of the board, you wouldnt catch any flack for posting like this. To sign up to every board you find just to post it is what is called spam. From your trucks description and attitude you have no idea what this board is about.

Maybe if you had done the work yourself instead of dropping the truck off at a shop with a credit card you would have a better understanding of whats going wrong with your overpriced street cruiser.

hmm last time I checked a pair was 2...maybe you need to stop tit feeding off your parents and go back to school. Sounds like you failed basic math.

:flipoff2:

It appears that you cannot take a hint. Let me make this plain:
SHUT THE FUCK UP! YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN HINTS ON TO GET YOUR WARRANTY. YOU HAVE ALSO STATED THAT YOU KNOW HOW TO GET THE WARRANTY FROM PRO-COMP. DO SOMETHING BESIDES ACTING LIKE A BIG FUCKING BABY.

anyone got any cokes on hand for this one?

Not entirely true. Working for Goodyear we'd replace any tires that exhibited tire "radial pulling".. It was a fairl common occurance. But generally it was realized on the test drive, only had one or two customers come back after the fact.

edit: eh.. guess i should read the whole thread before i bothered to post to his abortion..

A tire company wont even bother asking since the Firestone fiasco. Too much liability. If you blow out a tire for ANY reason now, you get paid. Nail in your tire? No problem, you can get 20mill in court. The industry is so shakey right now no company wants the liability...... they simply do whatever to keep the customer happy.

Now for the love of God, please stop spamming every goddam truck related forum on the internet. Every single one of your posts are the same copy. I can copy your first post in this thread and match it with the other 3 forums im on..... you know..... the ones you got banned on. 4WP screwed up your truck, so the only rational choice i see that you have is to stick a shotgun in your mouth. Please. Ill help. I have a loaded 870 in the next room. Seriously. I will hold it up, you pull the trigger.....
