I guess I'll go ahead and start my build thread for my new family rig I'm going to be building. 2003 GMC Envoy XL with a 5.3, 4L60E, 203-205, axle tech 4000's, 4WS, 4 link front and rear on coilovers, and for now running 44" Pitbull Rockers.
Here's what I'm starting with. Leather, wood grain, heated seats, and third row seating.
Future wheelbase. 150ish. Would like it to be shorter but cant with out moving the fire wall or the rear door!
The axles. I turned down the rotors by 3/4".
That way I can run calipers off the front of a 05 dodge ram 2500 4x4.
Made up a template for the calipers.
Then made them out of 1/2" and welded them on.
Wheels will protect the brakes pretty well.
Brakes are on the pinion sides.
