I have heard on a different forum that there is a guy planning on trying to run the YXZ at KOH next year. thinking he might back out once he gets his had on one tho

Tons on info on it. Hell, I forgot most of the info by now. I have slept and drank since the unveiling. :laughing: I know some are just aftermarket systems and then there is a "dealer installed" option, if I remember correctly.

Yep. It doesn't rock crawl. 1st is WAAAAAAAY to tall. Even with a recluse it seems like it would be hard on the clutch plates a it would be slipping all the time when trying to crawl.
I crawl box/underdrive would fit nicely betwwen the engine and trans. But I don't know how the Clutch, trans, ect will hold up to 2x-4x the torque from the added gearing???
on the other hand, the thing flat rips in the open desert. suspension is great. The 5 speed is a blast. No freewheeling feeling or lag when getting on and off the gas or braking.

The rzr wasn't exactly designed to rock crawl, yet people do it. I'm sure someone will figure it out, might be a few years though.
There are folks working on lower gears for the trans already. There are reduction gears on the input and output of the trans as well, so future aftermarket offerings may offer something there.

cool to hear tubeworks is working on lower gears for the tranny :smokin: although i would rather have a separate high/low box so you dont lose out on the top speed
Jayson would be better off making planetary hubs for them.......

The one I saw that entered the KOH UTV race today had a top 10 finish. It actualy held up very well and posted a great time. We will see.
