It's been looking promising in my part of Texas for a while now.

The Academy near me has had 325rd boxes of Automatch (@17.99) in stock every time I've gone in for the past four weeks. They also have large stacks of 50rd boxes and 100rd sleeves in multiple brands. They've even had 22 mag in stock for a few weeks now.

Yeah, Dicks seems to have plenty of Thunderbolts out here too. They lead the barrells of my kids SR-22's real bad, so I stopped buying them.
Local Academy (Springfield, MO) had at least a metric shit ton of Federal Match 325's at $17.99 over the weekend. Limit one box, as well as several brands of 50 round boxes (limit 2:shaking:).
We shot a bunch of it Saturday and decided all of our toys liked it so we went back with everyone in the family that doesn't shoot in line with us.
Scored 10 boxes @.06 out the door:smokin:
It ain't the best deal, but it's all I've found lately, and my .22 inventory is running low.

Texted my brother today about going to his local gunsmith and seeing if they still had any .22LR. They had it for about 4 cents a a round when I was last down there visiting.
That I would be willing to pay...

Was at the Horseheads, NY Field and Stream and they had .22 LR in stock. It was more expensive than i was willing to pay, the remington 1400 round buckets were 89.99+tax, not quite the 69.99 I got them for last year :(

Ever time i've walked through walmart over the last 5 or 6 months they never have .22 in stock...

All I've seen online lately has been $0.10ish/round. Started looking for 22 mag for a new pea shooter, and nothin no where. Found a guy, saw the boxes, held one in my hand. Holy shit, $0.30/rnd.
I've got Remmington Golden Bullet .22 LR for $0.08/round local, well bought online and shipped to the local Gander Mountain store. I had to pay tax, but not shipping. That's the best I've done on .22 in 3+ years. I got close to that price a couple weeks ago, I bought my dad a brick of 500 Winchester 40 grain round nose at Mack's Prairie Wings for $0.09/round out the door, tax and all.

Mack's has had some .22 LR in stock everytime I've been in there for the past 9 months or so, usually 1-3 box limit per customer depending on size, and usually a little pricier than the big online retailers, but they have some.

I've bought 1500+ rounds of .22 WMR over the past year, most has been online. The cheapest I can regularly get, has usually been the made in Philippines Armscor 40 grain JHP for ~$0.28/round. Palmetto State had some CCI 40 grain Gamepoints end of last Summer, I split 1000 rounds with my FIL. We bought those in bulk because PSA's shipping is pretty cost prohibitive for small quantities. The price/round for a few boxes is a lot more than it is for 20 boxes. Those CCIs were $0.28/round shipped.

Local shop had a couple dozen boxes of CCI Maxi Mags for $0.50/round, and he sold it all.:shaking:

It's sad that you can get new brass .223 for the same price or less than .22 WMR.

I've noticed that it's been quite a while since I've seen any alerts on 22 and the bumping of this thread reminds me of it even moar. Question, how do people ship ammo without costing a shit ton and hazmat, just flat rate and shhh?

Local place has CCI mini mags for $8 with a limit of 2. Not great but the girlfriends Beretta is hating the Federal stuff and I've had a ton of FTF with the same stuff in my 10/22 and HS 103.

LGS still has 10-15 100rd boxes of 22 shorts for $8 a box.

After finding some 22 mag at a walmart, I wasted a bunch of time hitting many other walmarts finding only 1 other with some stock. Rather than hit and miss anymore, went with cabela's overprice, which is still under the local guy.
Cabela's .22 Winchester Magnum $16
Not quite enough for free shipping so either ship to store or add on something.

Also, 22LR from Gander ~8 cents/rnd for 325 Federal $25, get 2 with a filler to get free shipping
Gander Mountain Federal Premium Champion Target AutoMatch Solid Rimfire Ammo, .22 LR, 40 Gr.
Select a category and sort low to high to see cheap items.

Sportsman's Guide and Cabelas both have it closer to 9 cents/rnd. Cabelas used to let it go closer to 6 cents. I guess they've figured out to cash in same as everyone else.
