22re, stock 5 speed, dual cases, Dana 60's w/ 4.88's, and 38.5" TSL's.
I originally decided on 4.88's when I thought I was gonna have an auto tranny and a 350 motivating my rig.
The current gearing seems *ok* on the trail in low/low, but moving around in 2wd H is pretty pathetic.
Even running around Gray Rock 2 weekends ago, from trail to trail I still had to run 2wd Low (front case only) just to get around from place to place and not bog down too much.
Would it even be worth considering stepping up to 5.13's, or 5.89's?
Keep in mind too - I intend to step up to 39.5" tires when these 38.5's get retired, so the problem will only get worse.
