Hello Gents.

I have a '75 Volvo C303 military truck with 16" wheels. I am looking to go to a 17" wheel to open up 37" tire selections. The problem I am running into is my wheel bolt pattern is 8X222. So I am searching for a beadlock 17" wheel that I can have custom made with a 8X222 bolt pattern. Any help on tracking something down? There are some limited options in the 16.5" Hummer wheel area, but tire selection is limited.

Cool 5 second search yielded you a 17" wheel with a 8x222 bolt pattern? can you send me a link or two?
Adapters will push the mounting surface out too far for a wheel to fit well on the truck. Doing something super custom is very tricky for highway use. This truck isn't really a trailer princess and will need to travel at highway speeds. I've read about people building custom homemade wheels for these portal axles for offroad crawlers that don't really need to be balanced, But I haven't seen any examples of any for on road use.
