last time i was out there i wheeled for 4 days, and every day we wheeled at least 3 trails, and were at it all day until 10 at night. i went through nearly 50 gallons of propane. If you can borrow or get your hands on an extra tank or two it does help. In Luccerne Valley there is a gas station that sells LPG it is like 30 minutes from the lakebed, so if you need it it is down there, and it was pretty cheap too, under 2$/gal

I was going to say....some of those pics look like the ridge on Jackhammer. Cool pics by the way, wish I was down there right now:cool2:

"Only 2 of us made Backdoor though. Seems you need 120+" of wheelbase for a drama free run. My rig is the one standing on it's rear bumper on Backdoor."

P.S.- That's not the line:flipoff2: Made for a cool picture though!
Yeah, I got the names of some of the trails confused. Jack and Sledge got me twisted around.

On Backdoor, I know thats not the line- I started out 3 feet to the right of where I am in the picture, and ended up where I am after standing up on the bumper and pivoting/pirouetteing to the left. Theres no way I coulda made it to where I am in the pics by driving there with my carb. :flipoff2:

for the guys in the group with the 46" MTs, what is your track width and wheel base?
The tapered K5 is right around 104-106"- Pretty close to stock. Dozer is 120"+, I don't remember exactly. The axles are d60/14b on both, so I'd imagine pretty close to what most full widths are as far as track width.

Tell Noel to get a damn haircut

Nice
Noel is pretty much not even close to the guy you remember...He's calmed down ALOT. I think he likes the long hair...Gives him the "prophet" look. :)

got any pics from the bottom of the first fall on backdoor?
Those pics are the first fall arent they? I wouldn't really call the first section before the one in the pictures a fall.....

How long are you guys able to run on a tank of propane?

I got about 25 miles of fully getting it full throttle snow running on a 10 gal tank. Covering the same stretch witha much more modest pedal, I used 5 gal. Played all day at moon rocks and some high speed runs down the road on 6 gal. Depends on how heavy your foot is. Engine was a built small block 11:1 comp. and 3-350 HP on the pane, more on racing fuel.

well, if you have close to a 69wms, which most full widths do (69 or 67 sometimes) If you have 46x19 claws, and run a 14" rim with 4" of Back spacing, the equation to find track width is (wms + tire width + rim width - 2times the backspacing) = 69+19+14-8=94" I dont know what rims they are running, if they are running a 12 Track width goes down to 92, if they are running a 10 it goes to 90.... Any idea what size rims and BS they are using? I am in a quandry about my track width. 94-95 with 49x21 iroks is doable with the mogs. but I need 10" of backspacing on a 14" rim...

from the looks of that rig in the videos and the pics... It looks like a narrower track width than stock axles with that wide of a tire. The outer edge of the rear tires look like they are just about even with the door panels which look to be about factory width....
