88 4runner 3VZE 3.0 V6 and T case

1988 3.0 toyota V6
gets 22mpg in my 4runner (when I drive it very careully). new alternator.
Hear and see it run before you buy i you pick it up... $400 OBO

Transfer case rom the same truck... $100 OBO

Also have IFS rear axle and ront brake setup in axle/wheel/tire section.

Everything can be shipped, and maybe delivered.

How many miles?
Was it already Rebuilt in the recall?
Any rod knocks or strange sounds coming from down under?

Papacasey- I thought all V6 cases were chain drive. I will check for you.

wertyzmom- I know of no such recall... the previous owner may have done it i guess. No knocks, runs awesome, no misfires. this engine will not disappoint.

Sounds good!
If you want to know about the engine recall (Head Gasket)... call any Toyota dealerships 800# and get to the Service Dept. They will ask you the VIN # and be able to tell you if it was done by looking on their computer. :grinpimp:

Well It will be $100 plus any shipping charges. I think they will be about 30 bucks. I will have to measure it and weigh it to figure it out. It is less than $150, are you interested? I will take it out and measure it today.
