hellow again , i tried to post before but i dont think it worked, who knows where it ended up? any way i just bought a yj and want to join a clup near placerville CA. ANY GOOD ONES?

I guess I am a newbie in this forum. I'm in the toy forum but little bro just bought a jeep so I'll be posting up some junk we'll be doing to it. have a marvelous friday. but it's just closer to monday which means work again

electrical problems

I am a newbie to the pirate world, I am having erratic spark, I have changed the coil, module box, cap and rotor and distributor. Getting 7.5 volts at coil and 7.5 at starter relay. Oh ya this is on a 1986 cj7 w/258 desmoged
There is a fusable link wire that runs from the module and splits to the coil and starter relay... Its getting hot when ignition is turned on.

All the problems started after I had my exaust done last week!!!! Any suggestions???

Hi. My name's Steve. I have a '67 M715 I call "Project Grizzlybeaver" and DD a '06 LJ Rubicon. I wheel 'em both like I stole 'em. I probably won't post much, but will chime in if I have something useful and productive. I can take a flaming with the best of them but I don't hand them out unless I know and like you. Newbie Jarhead checking in

I got a 06 LJ 4in tera flex w/2in spacers, smitty sliders/front bumper, custom rear bumpers, chip, intake, 62mm TB & spacer, red top optima, 44 front end swap w/chromo's, 4;10 yukons fr&rear, arb up front and spool out back with much still to come. Flaming is part of the fun thats why I ended up here....local club is thin skinned!

Hey, new here. Trying to learn jeep101. Having issues with my ZJ 98 5.2. Vibrations at the front end at around 60 or so mph and howl in front end when driving period. changed out my half shafts with C.V. type and wheel bearing hubs. Still have howl and vibrations. pinion bearings? ball joints? drive shaft balance? can I swap from C.V. to U.J. type shafts?
