as anyone installed an ARB snorkel on a 97/98 TJ before with Air Conditioning? I specifiy 97/98 because after that year, jeep modified where the compressor is and changed the air box. My problem is, with where my airbox is, and having installed the adapter plate that came with my snorkel for the intake tube to my stock air box, the plate butts right up against the AC hard lines. Making it impossible for me to get the air tube to mount to my air box.
Im trying to find out how anyone has gotten around this or looking for suggestions on what to do. I have heard of people doing away with the air box completely, and running an air filter in the hose itself and go straight from the snorkel to the throttle body. Suggestions, tips, tricks, anything? THANKS!
