Going to be looking into new shoes soon for my rig and im undecided between mud grapplers or boggers. Usually im a die hard bogger fan but was really impressed with a buddies rig on mud grapplers. Mostly wheeling in river beds n slop with a solid bottom, every now and then ill be on off camber hills n trails that are slick on the top, typical midwest wheelin. My rig is a 91 1 ton ford reg cab, 38x12.50 tsl's, 5 spd, turbo'd idi , kp 60 4.10s. Beat it like a rent a car.

The Boggers will be alot worse on the highway & I havent seen the Nittos win to many mud comps done by the various magazines. Depending on what your more worried about. I think personally you'd like the boggers better in the goo but theres alot more options out there depending on the size you want.

Looking into the 38.5x15.50x15s. Ive been told the grapplers will last longer on the road which is a plus because i do a lot of intown driving with this truck still. The prices are both about the same, so im really just lookin for opinions from others who have ran both.

Theres a couple guys i wheel with running very similar rigs, one on boggers and one on grapplers. They seem to perform just about the same to me but i wanted to see what others experiances with them have been. Ive ran boggers before and really liked them, the only reason i got rid of them was because i got a set of ags...
