haha i have done alot of research on it but i cant find anything on the steering i know the steering pump wont work but i was wondering if someone knew what i need to get

My father in law is the process of doing a SAS on His 02 EDGE He is Using the Front suspension off a 79 F150.
Radius and coils.

He welded on the coil buckets, and Shock Buckets He used the Steering Box from the F150 He mounted by Cutting out the front crumple zone and well a Piece of 1/4 Plate to the Frame.

The width of the axle is not bad on that year ranger with some cutout flairs slapped on there.

Made a custom Trans Cross member He is using the tail shaft out of an exploder auto Trans. he has the 3.0 with an auto I know Jack about what Trans it is all I know it is an auto.

His build has been going on for about 3 months.

I Leaf sprung suspension ride rough. And a D30 is a tooth Pick.
But if is what you have built it break it and rebuild it again.

Check Hear I have seen some Cool SAS ranger here.

Good Luck :flipoff2:

its very difficult to do and its not worth the time at all.i have not personally done one myself but have heard the horror stories. you should look up a guy on here named white rhino he'll tell you how hard it is to do. it will take most of your year do complete it. also the front axle that you need to put under the front is damn near impossible to find. also most people here dont like solid fronts because it is to stiff on the road and for daily use. just keep the ifs. you have a heavy duty ifs set up and will work fine with about 8" lift and 37's
