Has anybody been up to Hell Hole this year?We are planning a trip the weekend of the 11th.Just wondering how the drifts are on the trail.Should be all melted.???????????Anybody:smokin:

Stay clear of what I think was the jungle trail. The trail on the upper side by the blue water tank. I spent about 9-12 hours last Friday trying to get the zj out of a big hole. And it gets worse the farther you go down. Excuse the bad cell phone pics.

WTF are you talking about? Hell Hole is a trail to Hell Hole Reservoir in the Sierra Nevada. You're posting about Hollister.

And it shouldn't have taken 9-12 hours to get the grocery-getter out of Jungle, Tank Trap, or any other trail at Hollister. Just drag that bitch outta there, or someone'll drive over the top of it! :flipoff2:

I spent about 9-12 hours last Friday trying to get my Dads zj out of a big hole with out scratching it.

We were there from 15-19 June and everything was clear. There was a group of wheelers camped on the north side of the narrows near where Grayhorse Creek dumps into the lake so that trail is open. Couldn't say about the McKinstry trail though

We liked it so much we'll probably be going back middle of August.

Please everyone take care of this small trail. Its lightly used so it can be damaged easily. I plan on running it this year too, it a bitchin lil trail that leads to some good fishing!
